Eu não acreditava no céu.
Tinha a certeza de que a paz era apenas mais um
conceito abstrato e inexistente inventado pelo homem.

Eu nunca quis o céu, mas ele veio até mim.
Me caiu sobre a cabeça como uma
chuva forte e fresca em dia de calor.
Me fez tão bem que pela primeira vez
tive quase certeza de que estava vivo.

Foi incrível!

Tão doce e serena que o mundo real lhe é um insulto.
Uma heresia tão grande que seu corpo,
de luzes e formas das mais sublimes,
não se equilibra sobre nosso ar e ambientes podres.

Nossa! O Céu é realmente fantástico.
A paz é um estado de crescimento humano certo,
algo como ter o telefone de Deus.
A eternidade é muito tempo, muito muito tempo mesmo...
é o tempo que eu quero estar ao lado dela!

I didn't believe the sky.
I was certain that the peace was only one more
abstract and inexistent concept, invented by the man.
I believed the eternity was that time
in which things lasted for each one.

I never wanted the sky, but it came to me.
Falled over my head as a
strong and cold rain on a hot day.
It made me so well that, for the first time,
I was almost certain that I was alive.

It was amazing!

So sweet and peaceful that the real world insults her.
She is such an heresy that her body,
made of sublime light and forms ,
doesn't balance on our polluted ambient air.

Gosh! The Sky is really fantastic.
The peace is a state of certain human growth,
something as to have the numberphone of God.
The eternity is so much time, really much time…

O passar do tempo.
Várias vezes eu quis o ontem de volta.
Desculpem-me, eu era ingênuo e saudosista.
Acreditava na perpetuação dos bons momentos,
e não sabia o valor dos educadores erros...
Nossa! Como são importantes as porradas que levamos...
Agora, há alguns anos, entendo por que as culturas
orientais valorizam tanto a derrota e o inimigo
quanto as vitórias e os aliados.

E que o tempo passe.
Anseio pelos meus próximos erros.
Desejo que aconteçam cada vez com menos frequência,
mas que, sinceramente, nunca cessem pois não quero
me tornar um deserto, onde o vento nunca chega...
Quero ser floresta, que aumenta, se adapta e evolui
a cada novo dia, noite, chuva, seca...

Passing of the time.
Some times I wanted yesterday in return.
They forgive me, I ingenuous and saudosista age.
It believed the perpetuation of the good moments,
and not wise person the value of the educators errors...
God! As the porradas ones are important that we lead...
Now, it has some years, I understand why the
eastern cultures in such a way value the defeat
and the enemy how much the victories and the allies.

E that the time pass. Yearning for my next errors.
Desire that they happen each time with little frequency,
but that, sincerely, never they cease therefore I do not want to become a desert, where the wind never arrives...
I want to be forest, that increase, if adapta and it
evolves to each new day, night, rain, dries...

PLACEBO TOCA SÁBADO NA CAPITAL

Ten gente que até agora não está acreditando, eu estou, e eu vou... quem é doido de perder uma dessa???
A banda inglesa Placebo, liderado pelo vocalista Brian Molko (uma figurinha androgena muito da freak) está em turne pelo Brasil pela primeira vez e depois de passar por Recife, Salvador, Porto Alegre e Florianópolis se apresenta na capital federal amanhã dia 23 de abril, na concha acustica, ao lado da casa do nosso excenlentíssimo presidente Lulão... hehehe! Acho q ele não vai dormir essa noite... depois disso se apresentará em São Paulo dia 27/04, Campinas (26/04) e Rio de Janeiro (29/04).
A banda fez sucesso mesmo nos anos 90 e lançou 4 discos Placebo (em 1996), Without You I´m Nothing (1998), Black Market Music (2000) e Sleeping with Ghosts (2003). A banda também lançou a coletânea One More with Feeling no ano passado. O disco reúne os principais hits da carreira, como: Nancy Boy, Pure Morning, Every You Every Me, Slave to the Wage e You Don´t Care about Us.
Acredito que é nesse single que está o set list dos shows...
Me comuniquei pelo orkut com a galera que assistiu a apresentação em Recife, no Abril pru Rock, e todos ficaram pirados. O que posso dizer? a ansiedade é total e espero que vcs não percão a oportunidade de estar vendo uma banda tão legal e com uma história invejável dentro do Rock comtemporâneo...
Pra complementar essa noite q vai ser d+ vou dar uma festa ao lado de onde vai ser o show do Placebo, no Clube da imprensa, no termino do show do Placebo já me arranco pra lá pra comandar as pickups e continuar a noite até amanhecer... entã é isso ai... vejo vcs lá, ok?

ps. Informo também que ontem foi confirmado no Brasil 3 apresentações do The White Strips no teatro Amazonas (Manaus.1 de junho), Claro Hall(Rio.3 de junho) e Credicard Hall(São Paulo.4 de junho) então se liga mermão...

PLACEBO CONCERT SATURDAY IN BRASILIA

A lot of people still don't believe it. I am and I'll go... How couldn't I????
British band Placebo, whose lead singer is Brian Molko (a really freak and androgyne dude) is on tour in Brazil for the first time. After passing by Recife, Salvador, Porto Alegre and Florianopolis, they'll make a concert in the federal capital tomorrow, April 23rd, at Concha Acustica, beside the Brazilian president's home... hehehe. I don't think Mr. Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will get to sleep tomorrow! After that, Placebo will go to Sao Paulo (27/4), Campinas (26/4) and Rio de Janeiro (29/4).

The guys were really successfull in the 90's, when they released four albuns: Placebo (in 1996), Without You I´m Nothing (1998), Black Market Music (2000) and Sleeping with Ghosts (2003). Last year, the band also released the album One More with Feeling, with their greatest hits, such as Nancy Boy, Pure Morning, Every You Every Me, Slave to the Wage e You Don´t Care about Us. I believe the set list for tomorrow's concert will be consisted (basically) of these songs.

I've made contact (through Orkut) with the dudes who watched the show in Recife, at Abril Pro Rock and everyone really enjoyed it. What can I say? I'm totally eager and I hope you won't lose the chance to watch such an incredible band, with such an amazing story in the context of contemporaneous Rock.

Last, but not least, after the show, I'll be the DJ at a huge party at Clube da Imprensa (The Press Club) next to the concert's place. I'll watch the concert and just after it finishes I'll be at the club to play the best songs until the day breaks... hope to see everyone in there, ok?
